Drink Premium Coffee Ordered Right Off Your Computer and Delivered to Your Door

Submitted by Victoria Arya on June 25, 2009 – 7:08 am10 Comments

“It’s so smooth it makes you want to sit down and enjoy a cup with your morning paper.”

I know exactly jack about coffee; I know that I think it tastes funny, needs a ton of sugar, and if, and only if you are in DIRE need of a boost should you drink it.  So, why exactly did I accept a review for coffee?  Because I know there are quite a few of you weird coffee lovers out there who do enjoy the brew.  Two people I know who I would consider coffee lovers and well versed in good coffee are my aunt Judy, and her partner Kay.  So, I found the one coffee that I had actually heard of (Jamiacan Blue Mountain) and told my aunts they were becoming offical reviewers.

So when the coffee arrived I notied that it was nicely package and it came with a coffee mug, which I thought wascbd_logo pretty neat.  What?  You know you can’t have too many coffee mugs around.  I also really like the fact that Coffee Bean Direct lets you choose whether or not you want whole or ground beans, some people don’t have those cool little coffee grinder things.

I dropped the coffee off to my aunts and sat back to hear what they thought.  Now, let me give you a little background.  My aunts like good things: good wine, good food, good coffee, good trips, products and food that are high quality and they don’t like standing for products that don’t live up to their standards.  This means they check out a lot of coffee and once they find something they like you know it is good.  They are also big coffee drinkers…I can’t remember one morning when I didn’t see them padding around the house in their robes with a coffee mug in hand, and one cup is usually not enough…two or three at home and a cup for the car.  So, the fact that these two habitual coffee drinkers really like this coffee is a good thing…a very good thing.

Coffee Bean Direct sells various types of coffee regular and decaf) and they also sell it ground or in whole bean.  You can ever find sample packs with various types of coffee.  Not a coffee drinker?  That’s ok because You can also get various types of tea.  Why didn’t I get tea to review?  Well because I don’t like tea either LOL.

So overall what do I think?  If my coffee addict aunts are happy than I am happy too!

I think that the fact your ‘refined’ aunts liked the coffee speaks well – I always like a really coffee snob to tell me if what I’m drinking is the good stuff!

I am a “weird” habitual coffee drinker as well. It’s my crack. I can’t believe you don’t like coffee!!! I’ll bet the Coffee Bean direct coffees are great! I get their newsletters and I drool over the coffees. I have a problem. Haha

I am an enormous, weird, coffee addict! Take me to coffee anonymous please! Can’t imagine starting the day without it. The fact that Coffee Bean Direct carries tea as well is a plus because I love tea also!!

  • Betty says:

The Weird coffee drinkers do appreciate the research your aunts did. Do you run the risk of having to continue supplying them with more coffee? anyway, I like the wide variety of decaf available at coffee bean direct.

I’m always trying new coffees. It took quite a bit of time for me to actually acquire a taste for the brew. The problem was, I wasn’t drinking the good stuff – and it tasted just awful. Once I figured out that there were a TON of varieties and methods of brewing, then I was in business. I prefer whole bean to keep it fresher longer. I also love BOLD coffees but with very little bitterness. That’s sometimes hard to come by but when I find it… mmmmmmm……

I’m also not a coffee purist. I like cream and sugar. I also like regular and flavors.

And of course, I love tea. Why of course? I married a Brit. :) Sugar and Milk (or cream). Yummy proper tea.

I have never heard of this compnay before. We are Starbucks drinkers but I saw a lot of our favorite Starbucks flavors on their site also. I will have to convience my hubby to give this company a try. And you can never have too many coffee mugs, they break :)

  • Deborah R says:

My hubby orders his coffee from Coffee Bean Direct all the time. The beans are super fresh and fragrant, their customer service is great and they are usually speedy with their deliveries.
