Pearl Paradise-Affordable and High Quality Pearl Jewelry for Someone Special in Your Life

Submitted by Victoria Arya on October 26, 2009 – 12:04 am48 Comments

I am a believer in accessories…in fact I am a big believer in high quality accessories.  Why?  Because in my mind accessories can make or break a look or an outfit; while it’s important to have nice pieces of clothing in your wardrobe, you can pair a pair of decent jeans with a crisp white top and a couple of nice accessory pieces and you are done for day and night.  Now, my favorite type of accessory happens to be jewelry, and more specifically I tend to gravitate toward earrings that are eye catching and pretty.  So, when I was recently given the opportunity to do a review for a company called Pearl Paradise, I immediately took a look at their earring section and I chose the Cultured Freshwater Pearl Hoop Earrings.

I have to admit that I have never been fond of pearls…I tend to gravitate toward colored glass and cheaper kinds ofstones, but I have always thought of pearls as being a bit fussy.  Y’all know me though, I am always willing to rethink my ideas and preferences and I have to say that I now have an appreciation for pearls…well at least for pearl earrings.  When you read thedescription of the hoop earrings it says that the three large pearls on it are lavender, pink and white, and since I know nothing about pearls besides that they come in black and white, I was a bit skeptical about the whole colored pearl thing.  But, when these I took a look at these you can actually tell that each separate pearl has a distinctive pearl-paradisepink, lavender and white sheen.

Onto the actual look of the earrings.  They are a white gold hoop style with three 9mm pearls on each and one of the pearls is pink, one is lavender, and one is white.  I tend to not really like earrings that are heavy, but I do like pairs that aren’t light as a feather since I like to feel the dangling ones if that makes sense.  These earrings are just about the perfect weight for me and I can wear them all day without feeling uncomfortable.  One of the cool things is that you can move the pearls around on the earrings so that one color is in the front and more distinguishable than the others…or you can take one or two of the three off to make the earrings more simple in style.  The pearls themselves are evenly matched and overall the hoops are a great looking pair of pearl earrings.

So, overall what is my impression of the earrings that I received and of Pearl Paradise in general?  Well the earrings are a great quality, very comfortable to wear and look great with casual clothes and with dressier clothes; I especially love the fact that you can choose from either having a white gold or yellow gold hoop.  Pearl Paradise is a pretty cool store, they have a wide variety of pearl jewelry and something for anyone.  The quality of their items is great and the prices are very reasonable; in fact according to the owners, customers get a large discount in price from average retail price to what the pieces are actually sold for.
