Taviametal- Unique, Personalized, Elegant and Edgy Jewelry

Submitted by Victoria Arya on May 31, 2009 – 3:31 pm5 Comments

I am a big jewelry fan..I love all kinds of jewelry and I always find myself looking for cool, neat and totally unique pieces.  Now, this being said, I rarely wear jewelry.  Why?  Usually it is because I don’t want it to be yank on, pulled from my ears, grabbed at, or slobbered on.  It’s a sad sad day when a girl like me is reduced to wearing one pair of diamond stud earrings…and THAT’S IT.  But, that doesn’t stop my jewelry lust.  So, when I was recently contacted by Tavia Brown, designer and owner of Taviametal, about doing a review of her jewelry, I said yes, especially after Itavia looked at some of her handcrafted products and was blown away.

I receive a totally personalize Adoration Bracelet to review and it was beyond anything that I was expecting.  I received the package right before Mother’s Day (perfect timing) and when I opened it I was amazed by the quality, the look, the readability of the names, and the fact that she managed to fit my girls’ full names on the inside of the bracelet with their birth dates.  Even my husband, who is few and far between with his praises about anything, remarked on the fact that it was a “very pretty” bracelet!

So, let’s start at the top…the top of the bracelet that is.  The top of the Adoration Bracelet has my girls’ first names and the middle ”Elyse” and “Everleigh” and it also has a very delicate and unique vining pattern (which I quite like) running from the end of the bracelet to the middle, framing the names.  The inside of the bracelet has my girls’ full names on it “Elyse Callysta Sommerlyn” and “Everleigh Carolina Shaelyn” along with their birth dates…I am amazed tavia2by the fact that Tavia managed to get everything in the inside of the cuff bracelet without it looking squished or too small to read.  The bracelet itself is made out of sterling silver and is a cuff type of bracelet, so you basically slip on onto your wrist without having to worry about any types of closures.

So, overall what do I think?  Remember when I previously said that I wear one pair of earrings and that is it?  Well, now I wear one pair of earrings and one bracelet…everyday.  I have also gotten so many nice comments from people who really like the bracelet and wanted to know where I got it.  The bracelet itself isn’t flashy, but it is eye catchy, unique, slightly edgy (not your run of the mill mommy jewelry), it isn’t heavy at all, and it is totally me.  I love it!  Since I am going to have three kiddos rather than 2, I am going to have to retire the bracelet come the end of Oct, and I am going to have another made with all three kiddos on it.  Push present anyone?

If you aren’t a huge bracelet fan, Taviametal also of makes great looking earrings, rings and necklaces.

Stay Tuned!  Just in time for Father’s Day, one of you will have the chance to win a Personalized Cuff Mandoration Bracelet.
