So, do any of you have a The Children’s Place in your area?  I happen to really like The Children’s Place, but the closest one to me is a 1.5 hour drive away, which doesn’t stop me from shopping there   I just make it a full day shopping trip LOL.  So, why do I happen to like The Children’s Place?  They are reasonably priced, but the quality is good too.  I can’t count the number of times I have been really excited because I thought I was finding a deal on children’s clothes, only to bring them home and have the basically fall apart…I find that really aggrivating.  So, I have bought multiple items from multiple The Children’s Place stores, and they have all stood up to the wear and tear of the two monsters girls.

So, why am I talking about The Children’s Place?  Well, because they are having an ebay auction running from 14th-24th were the will be auctioning off messenger bags which have been decorated by celebrities.  The celebs include: David Archuletta (American Idol), Paula Abdul (American Idol), Taylor Lautner (Jacob in the Twilight movie), and Chance Crawford (Gossip Girls-I am SO bidding on this one!).  So, what exactly do the proceeds of this auction benefit?  All proceeds will go to promoting children’s literacy and will be given to the Books for Kids Foundation.
