Yoplait Whips-A Healthy Yummy Snack for Everyone in the Family
I might have mentioned that I am not the biggest fan of yogurt…in fact I am not a huge fan of anything that has a completely smooth texture; I even put sprinkles on my ice cream so there is a bit of a crunch or texture. You don’t need to tell me that I am weird. But, I make an exception for my texture issue when it involves healthy chocolate…since I rarely run across a chocolate food item that I like that is also relatively healthy for me, I rarely have to make exceptions. But, I have to admit that I make a texture exception for Yoplait Whips yogurt…why?
Because they come in chocolate!
So, why do I like Whips besides the fact they come in chocolate flavor? Well for one thing Whips have a different type of texture than the regular yogurts…I would say it’s a little bit more light a fluffy mousse rather than the more slimy(ish) texture of regular yogurt. Now, I have to admit that since yogurt isn’t really my “thing” I would generally choose pudding or ice cream over yogurt, but since I try to be healthy and well rounded (the keyword there is TRY) yogurt is a rather healthy alternative and I don’t feel as guilty when I give them to the kiddos LOL.
For those of you that happen to like yogurt in flavors other than chocolate (because I know y’all are out there LOL), Whips come in a variety of flavors that can suit even the pickiest eaters. And since it is still hot in some places here’s a quick tip: If you are looking for a little bit of a treat and you don’t want to go ahead and chow down on a gallon of ice cream, go ahead and grab a Yoplait Whips and put it in the freezer for a bit. If you leave it in the freezer for a shorter amount of time you get something close to frozen yogurt and if you put it in for a longer period of time you get something closer to ice cream.

Oh I LOVE frozen Whips! So glad to hear someone else does this and that I’m not crazy. I actaully will freeze them and then add them to my kids lunch bags, they act as a ice pack and defrost bythe time she gets to eat it.
